I see some airport drop off charges are going up yet again. Did a bit of research and surprise surprise they used to be in public ownership and were flogged off in the 80s by Thatcher! Just look how much these could be adding to the economy every year if they were still public utilities.

Burnham & Farage are polar opposites. Burnham is honest about the issues that face the country and wanting to work together to make things better. This positivity linked to making progress in some of these challenging policy areas is the key to defeating Reform. And the Tories for that matter.

I’m not at all surprised to read this. I too was hugely disappointed. The issue was Netflix deciding to adapt it as a film. 1 1/2 hours far too short to capture the superb book. I think if they had done this as an 8 part drama it would have been loads better. Maybe in the future, someone will?
