Sonic 2 and knuckles broke my brain as a kid! I couldn’t believe you could plug in Sonic 2 or 3 and play as Knuckles! I’m still confused how they got it to work in 2 without breaking the game completely! Did they plan for it the whole time?

For sure, my cat grew up as a kitten in a feral community, but we adopted her and now she is soooo scared to even go outside on the balcony because she doesn’t want to be left out. Poor traumatized kitteh! She’s happy inside.

Recently learned: Sony worked with Nintendo on a new disc based console, but after it fell through they went to Sega, but they had their own plans for Saturn. Sony instead made the PS1 internally from people in their music team. It was perfect timing for Square since they fell out with Nintendo too!

My one and only complaint is that I feel compelled to roll a Cha based character every time because I know they’ll do all the talking. I know it’s probably a me problem, because there are ways around it and also failing can be interesting too. But since it’s a video game i feel inclined to optimize.

Totally, AI could do some helpful “number crunching”, but not “cure cancer”. That needs people to do testing and thinking. My grandma helped Dr Salk cure Polio. Not with computers, with her fuckin hands. LLMs are like a calculator connected to the internet.

I know what you mean, but it’s ok to just like both and appreciate them for different things! I think I was a bit caught off guard by the first ep because they just sexualize major a bit too blatantly. I know that’s nothing new, and i watch plenty of “fan service” anime, but this felt off to me.

For some reason Cannon Fodder, Jet Pack, and Scorched Earth are the most memorable PC games of my youth. I loved Commander Keen, Doom, and Tie Fighter but it somehow didn’t imprint on me in the same way.

It’s an awesome game. Put 200hrs in EA. But haven’t played since my kid was born…3 years ago! There were for sure some annoying parts. But the feeling of having to figure it out the first night and trying to build a shelter and wait out the night was visceral (many people have this moment in MC too)

Yeah, but I’m not sure what’s better for increasing hearts: Ultimate feed or crops? I often do the former to be sure. Still want to breed a strawberry cow! I’m at 120hr (played beta) but still reluctant to look things up. I lost motivation in stardew when I did that.
