This also feels true for effective policy work - whilst those cycles are not enforced by nature - this work ultimately runs in cycles (be that election cycles, bill processes, national-> local implementation)

It was brilliant to spend the day at The Free Company (based just outside Edinburgh) on Tuesday and learn more about their farm to table model, "guided by regenerative methods, our focus is on building soil health, boosting biodiversity, and giving back more than we take."

But SO many people making major assumptions that the cockpit was staffed by two men! Women & non binary ppl can be pilots & first officers too & deserve to be visibled and recognised in this space. First session about working with local authorities to accelerate climate action. Whilst all session presenters have spoken about working with english LA's it shows that lots of the challenges and opportunities facing local government right now are not nationally specific.
