Thank you for pointing the 🍆-cake my way … ! 🙂‍↕️😌

Holy sh*t. Somehow I had managed to MISS this … ! 🤯🫣

It just started raining here and I got SO excited 🤩☔️ (Though I fear it’s already slowing to a stop again now 😔)

120

This just reminded me why I love this show so much. Thank you 🥹♥️♥️

“One of us one of us one of us” 🎶 Welcome to the crew! 🥰🏴‍☠️

Good point and fair. But ugh 💔 I wish people would continue taking pride in doing the actual work.

050

(I will continue to speak s3 into existence until DJenks tells us every last bit of what was supposed to happen in s3 – only then will I *reluctantly* lay down my “s3 WILL happen”-sword and not a single second before then 🔥🔥🔥)

170

Yeah exactly – I couldn’t imagine him leaving Izzy entirely, as he’s currently been at the end of s2. It doesn’t go with the show (& it doesn’t go with DJenks) to leave the character there. 🐦-Buttons foreshadowing that. I genuinely think there’s waaay more to his story that’s coming up in s3.

270

I think we’re getting a mix between ghost-Izzy and – with how much this show loves its parallels – Izzy in the Gravy Basket. And it’s gonna be brilliant. Even if it is takes another 10 years before it happens 👀

1101

I’ve seen several ppl commenting on this today – have we had another case of someone presenting AI as their own work?

Has there been another case of AI-work being presented as someone’s own work? 😳

000

However, I still agree that his death wasn’t pointless. It was a classic storytelling grip & would’ve (WILL … !) most likely been (BE!) utilised to help our heroes win it all in s3. It was foreshadowed in s1e10 as soon as Izzy knew he’d f*cked up when Ed went off the rails. 2/2

An important distinction to make: Izzy was never the ‘villain’. Izzy was the antagonist. Huge difference storytelling-wise. The English – and in particular the Badmintons – are the villains. 1/2

Your wish is my command! 🏴‍☠️😍🫡 #EdTeach #OFMDart

Digital drawing of Ed ‘Princess’ Teach (bisexual queen and arse like a peach) in a beautiful black sheer dress.

His snake tattoo isn’t visible on his arm, but we do see it running aaall the way down his right leg (which is visible due to a high slit in the dress) — if you were to zoom in on the highest bit of his thigh you’d be able to see a tiny heart tattoo with the letters “SB” inside it 👀♥️

I gotta know, Lark – did you make the shower curtain’s draping look like Stede’s mermaid tail on purpose, or was it a happy accident? 😅😍 (I’m suspecting it’s quite on purpose … (👀🧜🏻), but I had to ask 😅)

I will never get over how deeply romantic and beautiful – and how gently handled – the full moon scene is 🥹🩷 Seriously … the fact that we actually got this show in the first place? 🥹😭🥰 #OFMD #OurFlagMeansDeath

The red silk handkerchief scene. Here, Stede is arranging the red silk in Ed’s breast pocket.

Stede is folding the red silk – Ed is looking at him with sceptical wonderment in his eyes (like he doesn’t dare believe this is happening)

Ed’s eyes are huge and full of wonder. He looks like he’s scared to breathe, in fear of scaring the moment away 💜

Stede is looking at Ed with incredibly kind eyes.

He doesn’t realise it yet, but he is hitting so f*ckin’ hard on Ed Teach in this scene and Ed is ready to melt through the floor 👀🔥🔥🔥

NO FINAL KISS??? Are you f*ckin’ serious!? 🤯

Ugh, I remember those fever-headaches vividly — they’re not to be trifled with 🥵 Glad you have the possibility of ibuprofen! Hope you get well soon!! 🫂♥️

110

Right!? 😍 Thank you!!! 🥰♥️

Thank youuu 🥹😍😍 I love him very much 😍

Uggh that sucks so hard 😣 Sending you healing and feel better wishes!! ♥️🫂 (I know it’s not great to take paracetamol and ibuprofen when you have a fever, but if the headache is that excruciating I would highly recommend it, if you’re allowed painkillers!)

120

I keep forgetting to share this wonderful soft boy & his wee happy puppy-friend! 😍 (There’s still something around the angle of his chin, but I can continue editing this forever and a day of if I don’t stop myself at some point 🙈) #EdTeach #OFMD #BisexualEd

Digital drawing of Ed Teach hugging a tiny dog (possibly chihuahua?).

It’s an Ed-ified drawing of a photo of Taika hugging a tiny dog.

I had a lovely day, a wonderful weekend, and I’m having a pretty darn decent week 🥰 Thank you so much 💜💜

It is, in fact, one of my absolute favourite things about him 🙂‍↕️😍

120

Oof, I felt that! That’s always my reaction too.
