Cover for the comic I'm working on? (Between a million things SIGH) Adore the cover art I managed to produce though <3

Tiktaaliik @tiktaaliik.bsky.social · 19/06/2025

Oh man how can I skip out on my MANS <3 Cipher has been my project child for years now and his story has adjusted significantly as well as his design changing as I developed him from a fan-made character into a personal story. I have hopes to one day make his story into a graphic novel but we'll see

Another Skollyson commission. Technically Cipher's body after he gets died

Commission done by @hekatise years ago--(this is her discord user, not sure if she has bS under the same name)

Commission done by the lovely @skollyson of one of Cipher's old designs <3

Another one for ya ❤️ This is Katie, a black lab. Unfortunately the picture I got of the final had overhead lighting so I did a little editing to try and fix the glare. Thank you for the new followers!!

Several pet portrait commissions I finished up recently. I really love doing these, they're so satisfying.

I wish I could convince myself that my comic doesn't have to be pretty, just well written. So I could slam through pages so much faster. But alas, my brain protests and I must make it perfect 😔

Got a few more details to clean up and then the first of the magpies is done! Still torn on if the second one is going to be the same kind of magpie or not, so pretty! #leathercraft #leather #bird

THIS!!! The scroll dynamic of the 'episodes' require so many panels more than would be in any page, and the rate of posting is insane to maintain a following. I feel much happier with my story telling after switching back to a page format.

Alert Bay, Cormorant Is., BC, Canada Cedarwood, pigment, hide, cotton cord, metal nail “Climate in Crisis: Environmental Change in the Indigenous Americas” @ Brooklyn Museum (2023) #IndigenousArt #FirstNationsArt See ALT for more info

Baleen Whale Mask, 19th century
Alert Bay, Cormorant Island, British Columbia, Canada
Cedarwood, pigment, hide, cotton cord, metal nails Museum Expedition 1908, Museum Collection Fund,

Marine animals, including whales, were long part of the Northwest Coast peoples' diet. Whale hunting required courage, physical strength, and technical knowledge. This mask was likely worn by a Kwakwaka'wakw chief during winter potlatch ceremonies to demonstrate his prestige and celebrate the bounty of the sea. Wearing the heavy mask along his back, the dancer used interior cords to manipulate the fins, mouth, and tail and to mimic swimming and diving. The privilege of performing with a mask, along with the related stories, is passed down through the generations; tribe members perform the whale dance to this day.”
