Quest ROOT IS NOW PATCHED do NOT update to the latest version that released September 24th 2026 or any version after if you want to keep root. Updating your headset is almost 100% YOUR fault

To anyone sad about being unable to root their quests. Even if your firmware isn't *currently* rootable, still enable dev mode and get Singularity on the headset. A LOT more people are tinkering than ever before and I have a *feeling* a new exploit will be found Soon™

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.

Current workaround, add this to target of shortcut --force-fieldtrials=ExtensionManifestV2Deprecation/Enabled_HardDeprecation_Launched_Stable/ --disable-features=ExtensionManifestV2Unsupported,ExtensionManifestV2Disabled Load unpacked ext, use dev console to delete 'disable' attribute, turn it on.

So over the past couple weeks I've been working on a module that sits on top of @sim.red's VRC Light Volumes package. It uses the AtlasPostProcessors system to read a pre-baked flipbook, so you can get animated, multicolour, multidirectional baked lighting with VRC LV. #VRChat

Hot take, I'm honestly fine with my data being harvested, if i can get 50% of the revenue from it's sale. All the job boards, 18+ age verification, etc. would go a LOT faster and easier if the harvesting companies gave everyone they're harvesting from a cut.

Figured out the funny Light Volume Caustics attached to Point Light Volumes :3 It's a 240 frame, 256x256 Texture2DArray, set to a mat for frame rate, fed into a Custom Render Texture Gonna have to trim it down for performance, but my gawd is it pretty :3 #VRCLV #ChilloutVR #VR
