Omg thank you! It makes me so happy to hear when my creature designs inspire other artists. 🥰

Tiinasaurus🦕 @tiinasaurus.bsky.social · 28/04/2026

😩 I feel you... It wasn't really my fault for taking such a long break form work cuz... life and junk. But it sucks to come back to everything only to find resources I used to rely on are gone. Accounts deleted or now subscription based, or have ai integration policies I don't agree with. It blows.

I was jazzed to be given the opportunity to illustrate the cover of Natalie Vázquez's first book. This job was a delight to work on and let me really challenge Procreates layer limit. I'd include the synopsis but I've reached the word count. 🌈 SO READ IT HERE! 👇 store.bookbaby.com/book/the-mor...

Book cover for The Mortician's Daughter: Undertaking the 6th grade. Cameo of a lady with a skull face and flowers in her hair framed by a black frame made of sculpted flowers. On the bottom of the frame is a sculpted ribbon with the words "Memento Mori" carved in it. All against a purple background.

That’s really good to know! I’ve actually been peeping Printiful since you moved your stuff there. I always like to assess how they look in person and had been planning on ordering a couple of items to compare. Sorry Society6 kicked your account too. 🫥 Buttholes…

I didn’t realize Spoonflower was still around! So many POD websites I’ve been with forever are becoming exclusive or reducing the items you can print on. Like my Society6 shop was just closed due to their pivot to “artist curation”. At least there’s Redbubble. And I’m glad there’s Spoonflower too.

The box art in game was kinda blurry so my boyfriend bought me real wind-up chattering teeth for reference. Also because he thought it was funny. 😏 It was funny.

So to prove my fealty to the #CrunchieCrew I made this! I hope that sharing 3 year old fanart thanks to the announcement of Forest 3 at The Game Awards will help me break that curse and make more ORIGINAL non-fanart in 2026! Aaaand it's stuck in my head again... -_-

An illustration of a wind-up chattering teeth toy with a large tongue circled by the words CRUNCHIE CREW and colorful cereal loops. A fictitious cereal mascot from the game Sons Of The Forest 2.

One of my coping games was #SonsOfTheForest. We had Kelvin carry the radio around and it only took a week til it's songs were living rent free in my head. Particularly this one youtu.be/EZ6GOlpfq1o?... Playing with friends meant moments with nothing to do, and my boyfriend suggested I make fanart.

I'ma be real with you guys... I've been in a endless state of burnout for most of 2024 & all of 25. My main source of dopamine has been video games and comics. Trying to break the curse with all the uncertainty over ai and the economy feels impossible. I put pencil to paper and my hand doesn't move.

Since capitalism won't adequately appease my current obsession I'll do it myself. #Megamind #DIY #Airfreshener #EvilAirfreshener

As a nerd that drives I obviously had to make an (evil) air-freshener OR figure out how to make my car turn invisible.

The former was more cost efficient.

I get meticulous when it comes to accuracy so I paused the movie in a few places, taking screenshots to drag into Photoshop for measurements. As you do... Logically.

Oof that's old (and blurry) but if it's helpful feel free to use it to make your own evil car decor.

I figure if Megamind took the time between building various gadgets, giant robots and an army of brain-bots while plotting new ways to kill Metroman, to make a custom air freshener for his car that no one will see because it's invisible, you can too.

🌈New Hotness VS Old and Busted👎

When MLP|FiM came out I wanted to see how my OC Embertail would look modernized.

Her Cutie Mark was inspired by the 'Twice as Fancy Ponies' that had symbols covering most of their torso. I loved the Pegasus 'Dancing Butterflies' as a kid. She was one of my favorites and a big influence.

Embertail was created before Friendship Is Magic.

Back when I started getting into eBay. Buying beat-up G1 dolls to refurbish or customize. Mostly 'So Soft Ponies' with badly damaged flocking that could be easily removed.

This was drawn as a t-shirt design to wear to a "MLP Collectors Convention"... which turned out to be a small swap meet at some kids house. '__'

At least the mom's that drove us there had a good laugh.

And some times the clips are scenes you DO remember and don't give proper context for what comes next. Which I guess avoids spoilers... but still. I usually watch the last episode from the previous season ahead of time anyway just cause I'm excited and can't wait. ^^

This is Kaapamü. The first character I ever made back when I was a wee(aboo) lass. #OC #CreatureDesign

He used to look VERY anime influenced but grew out of it. I once made a single comic page featuring him. But that was it. I feel bad. I'd like to give him a proper story some day and alleviate my guilt...

Also the first this I drew in Procreate.

The gem on his head has a function but I'm keeping it under wraps in case I find the willpower to write a mini comic one day.

Tiinasaurus🦕 @tiinasaurus.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

Based on actual concept art from The Art of Megamind. Blame Dreamworks. He's "covered up" so I don't think this needs a warning label. Lemme know if I'm wrong. #Megamind #Dreamworks

For the fandom. Because we all know he’s a secret Metro Man fan boy on Laundry days. I REGRET NOTHING! except how the steam turned out but I don't want to spend time fixing it. One of these days... I SWEAR I will draw him in something he actually wore in the movie.

173

Tiinasaurus🦕 @tiinasaurus.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

I found out they changed her look for the TV show, likely to avoid getting sued by Marvel. I like her but I wish they'd kept the outfit from the concept art. The umbrella dress is just ugly. #Megamind #DoomSyndicate #LadyDoppler

She only appears like this in one concept design in the art book, but I really liked her costume. Primarily the pants… which of course, I didn’t draw.

Tiinasaurus🦕 @tiinasaurus.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

#Megamind Fanart where I never draw anyone in anything they wore in the movie.

I wanted to see how Megamind would look in his home planet's garb. So I basically dressed him up like his father.

Roxanne as Megamind's evil queen. I love this pair way too much. I started this sketch in the dealers dungeon of Dragon*Con with no phone reception, thus no reference. I intentionally left out the belt and changed the collar.
