Rich people like Trump, Elon, Jeff Bezos all wish to live a high end lifestyle where they want to own everything due to a fear of loss of socioeconomic and political control and a fear of losing their wealth.

Ngl I've been reading up more on socioeconomic theories and talked to my cousin about the current state of the US. Him and I came to the conclusion that the reason the US is in the state it is in is due to the perception of greed and owning or consuming way more than one needs.
