Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Well, that's such a lovely kind gesture to those fleeing terror. You'd rather cut yourselves off from the world with a symbolic gesture of utter heartlessness. Piddington, an expression of English exceptionalism at its worst. 001
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Oh come on man, shhh. Giving them ideas always leads to, you know, them using those ideas. 010
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 16/08/2026Well done you. Plastic bottles need to go. No need. Glass or aluminium are the way to go! 000
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 15/08/2026The small dick energy radiating from this is off the scale. Off a very small scale. 000
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 22/07/2026Id drag them into a select committee and ask them why they are not reporting the drop. Otherwise it does look VERY much like a simple parroting of Reform lines. 000
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 01/07/2026Indeed it is disappointing seeing the FT join the rest of the media in catastrophising such things. A period of calm in the media, rather than already casting doubt on Burnham might be good for the public mood We could, you know, give positivity a chance. 000
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 12/05/2026I'm other news the boss of JPMorgan can, just checking here, go fuck himself. Pictures at 11. Now back to the studio. 000
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Support the idea of a soft left, environmental leader. But he's not the best public speaker and lacks a little grit in my book. But of all the names being touted, Miliband is the one that can unite the progressive vote. And that's essential, not chasing Reform. 000

Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 30/04/2026Really disappointed to see my favourite chippy, won't name but is on the Headland, with Reform stickers on the windows. Am down in Hartlepool visiting my mam every 4 weeks and that's my last visit to there. Shame as the cod bits are lush. 110
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 19/04/2026Well that's it, I have just retired and don't feel like I want to invest in the stock market. Markets can go down and as I tried to say earlier, now feels as risky as fuck so whilst it might not be the most cost effective hedge against inflation, it's guaranteed. 000
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 18/04/2026But I am not interested in funding (risky) startups. But by all means, you crack on. I'll take my 3% tax free interest and use the capital as and when I need it. Nothing, absolutely nothing, would want me to invest in stocks given the current level of global clusterfuckendom. 211
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 18/04/2026Well, I am sitting along with my partner with cash in ISAs. I don't want to invest. I don't see the advantage for us in investing and possibly reducing our meagre savings income. I am also not keen on fee structures for investing. I'm still not seeing the advantage for the likes of us in investing. 220
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 14/04/2026This people are both ill informed and have access to the data which would inform them. And they are comfortable saying this stuff out loud. Which in my view makes them utterly unsuitable for post, ie dumb AF, or complicit in what's coming. Save all this stuff and throw it to them in 20 years. Jesus 000

Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 08/04/2026Feel your pain man, but in answer to your message, because the man's an uncontrollable, orange gimp. And a cunt who, in real time, is wrecking our future hopes and dreams. In other news, drams may have been taken. Pictures at 11 010
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 05/04/2026Agree it's a minefield and also agree there's a demographic imbalance. I disagree that we can't tax asset wealth more effectively. It's well known that the tax system can be games if you know how and are prepared to pay third parties to enable. Close loopholes and make it fairer for all. 110
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 05/04/2026I think that's the issue, why don't we reconfigure the tax system so that it taxes wealth regardless of the amount of said wealth. I understand it's hard, and vested interests will push back, but it's the right thing to do. 110
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 05/04/2026We have a tax system that actively enables the wealthy to pass less than their fair share of tax. Taxing wealth fairly, the more you have the more you should be paying, is sensible, democratic and would help to distribute monies to those that need it most. 100
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 09/03/2026Language is important as is the reasoning behind media choices. Do better! 010

Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 17/02/2026It's the G word. He's in it for the attention and what he can make out of it. If the BBC and a compliant RW media hadn't been fawning over him for a decade or more he'd be nowhere. That's the issue, elements of those with power love his brashness and craic. Ask yourself why. 030
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 11/02/2026Really. Well Mr Radcliffe why don't you just do me, my family and all my friends a great service and fuck off all the way over there. And when you get there, have a good think on why we asked you to go there. And when you've had a long hard think, fuck off a little bit more. Thanks. 000
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 05/02/2026Forgive my grammar. I will try harder, really I will. But the point still stands, as I am sure you are aware. Now where's my Thesaurus 130
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 05/02/2026Way to miss the point Dotski! The title isn't the issue, the fact that someone in Europe has got that dodgy twat in their sites is. 1221
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 19/01/2026If he does, and let's face it the odds are high, then we are Captain Fucked. I appreciate the difficulty the UK gov is in, but how much longer can UK/EU try not to upset the child king. Pick a lane, explain to all why we are picking that lane - even to the extent of a TV announcement and act. Please 000
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 17/01/2026What an abject waste of resources. Think of the positive impact a tenth of the £500m could achieve for society. Why aren't the current government looking to extract some of this resource via a transaction tax or a more progressive tax system. Stop giving capital more rights than us! 030
Andy O @tigh.bsky.social · 10/01/2026Can't recommend @iandunt.bsky.social latest substack enough. Even by his high standards it's a very powerful piece.
