absolutely perfect shapes... and the color choices are to dieee forrrr

vana 🐯 @tigertwined.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I need to get better at not answering the siren song of a 3 hour long midday nap but this week has been weirdly boring and yet exhausting, all I want to do is sleep.

Love your art so much - you have such an eye for the depth of field. Could look at your color choices all day!

And yet, these are people wanting to rush dealer dens so they can get bankrolled by the community - they only love it if and when it financially suits them. It sucks.

my furry hot take... if you are embarrassed or otherwise refuse to be labelled as a furry, you should not be taking advantage of the kindness and goodness that comes with the community. that means no furry money. i better not see you taking commissions. fake and slimy 🙃

SO damn sleepy on this Monday and have to work another 2.5 hours…

vana 🐯 @tigertwined.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

That’s true!! I’m thankful now that I’ve got some of my early 00s stuff on a deviantart account haha. I remember doing most of the old drawings with a mouse. :P

I haven't drawn for several days (new work schedule...) so to warm up I decided to revamp one of my oldest ocs, Requiem

I just had to increase Clementine's calorie amounts because he is crazy active. I've even had to resort to like 2 dry food feedings because he burns off the wet too quickly lol. Boy kittens built different

vana 🐯 @tigertwined.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

It’s funny because he’s only started to “fill in” the past couple days. 😭

vana 🐯 @tigertwined.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

I'm not going to, I think, but I do wanna do a name change/"rebranding" (I HATE THAT WORD) at some point

vana 🐯 @tigertwined.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

ngl it's so tempting to want and just start my internet presence alllll over, just nuke everything and redo

You are such an inspiration and the reason why I started experimenting with block printing and I love it so far. I really admire how clean and methodically cut your blocks are.

Also I would not have been alerted to the job at ALL if not for my friend (u know who you are) and I’m so grateful for that omg I truly hate retail and the fact I don’t have to go back is huge

I’ve been quietly pursuing this job for like a month and had some setbacks (filled the original position I applied for but the recruiter liked me enough to recommend me another one). But all my bg checks/screens are done and I start basically at the same salary I worked 12 years for!

150

yayy officially employed again ^_^ AND ITS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE OR RETAIL

Permission granted to do evil tricks to me and I’ll collaborate. It’s just a matter of assembling the right team

Trust me I could rant forever about him too and as a former local I’m additionally defensive. UGH I WISH WE COULD LEAVE WILD ANIMALS ALONE

020

Sensationalizing any sort of wild animal doesn't land well with me. There's a reason why biologists don't often give colloquial 'names' to specimens they study...

130

I can only summarize my feelings towards him like "it is a testament to the bonds animals share with one another that he's survived and thrived despite physical challenges that would cause another animal to potentially reject their offspring". I wish human intervention wasn't part of his story too.

I totally forgot to post on bsky about these but Timber and Stealth are the ones left!

Thank you so much! That’s the newer one. :) That block was a lot easier to carve haha

thanks for all the love on my silly little experiment... ;; I've been feeling kind of discouraged re: art lately and it's been nice to branch out lol

020

Once I refine the design a bit (and make it a little smaller!) I might do this! Thank you for the cute idea (:

I think next time I’ll do a tracing paper transfer - it’s really difficult just to draw in permanent sharpie on carving block. Also my speedball carving tools disappeared so I’m using a questionably sharp one (which explains how the new one got part of its cheek cut off)
