Yeah I will say Cody’s a natural storyteller so I would not be shocked if he ends up being the star of the show (Still conflicted on whether or not I want to go see it though)

I love this because everytime I hear “THEN A LEFT THEN A RIGHT THEN A LEFT THEN A RIGHT” My brain can only picture JK Simmons.

Neat idea but little chance most people will have the willpower and lack of obligation to sit through 4 2+ hour films in one day so the Box Office numbers will be incredibly screwy

I’ll probably fill out my ballot this weekend and use this as a guide: I know I probably shouldn’t be voting solely because someone else told me to but honestly once I look into it I’ll probably still vote this way. I’ve especially known it was a Yes on 40 and No on 39

Introduce yourself as an anime character (I know very little about this show but I obviously had to pick something Tiger-adjacent)

Narnia adaptation being released as a fantasy alternative to Harry Potter (albeit in a time where it, it being Narnia, is arguably far more needed) Is this a recession indicator?

-and the fact that YouTube genuinely feels a lot more accessible in this moment than Cable & Streaming. especially true with Kids content, hence why it genuinely feels as though Object Shows have been among the main standard bearers for Kids animation this decade (minus recent controversy)

Yeah I feel like there will definitely be more shows that come along and it won’t just be these few forever, But at this moment at least, The money might well and truly be with going Indie. In terms of having more creative freedom, being your own boss in most cases-

And that’s not even mentioning that this is Laika we’re talking about. Box Office Numbers mean jack and shit to them because Travis Knight is a Billionaire Nepo-baby who’s just doing this for the love of the game.

Sparky looks like a white Al Sharpton. (Largely just with the hair and moustache, the real Al Sharpton obviously dresses much nicer)

One I just found out about from “Blister in the Sun” by Violent Femmes. Thought the lyric was “Let me go *Wi-ild* Like *A* Blister in the Sun!” Actual lyric was “Let me go *O-on*, Like *I* Blister in the Sun!”

Explain your lore as badly as possible. Bigoted scientists perform the most fucked up experiments possible, Somehow combine Human DNA with a Jungle Cat, And that fucked up creation escapes to make music.

The real winners of this chicanery are Universal, A24, and Glitch. Now that you have all this under one skewed roof, Hopeful creatives are probably gonna be steering clear of Skydance as much as possible, Which in turn, is gonna direct more and more people to the aforementioned studios.

-this new thing to be. And that’s on top of the fact that this is utterly pointless besides the Ellison’s wanting more recognizable IPs and CNN. On top of the fact that they are legit gonna drown themselves with the heavy weight of all this shit.

Honestly the major issue I have with this is, While I do agree with the choice of name being something separate from Paramount or WB, thus treating both brands as equals kinda, The Skydance branding itself just feels, lifeless, Maybe not lifeless, maybe moreso not befitting of what they want-
