Okay after some thinking, I have concluded this is Queen accepting Ralsei after they come out or something.

She/Her. Adult. | Just another trans girl who's suffering from an UT/DR hyper fixation. (and may post stuff outside the fandom). (SPOILERS FOR DELTARUNE, ISAT, TADC, G Witch, and potentially more)
![I screenshot from the Witch from Mercury wikipedia page that reads as following.
On July 30, a statement was released by Kadokawa in which they claimed the discrepancy was a "proofreading mistake" and that the marriage reference was based on "editorial speculation".[60] An accompanying statement was released on the official Witch from Mercury website in which these claims were repeated, in addition to implying the events of the series are open to interpretation by viewers,[61] leading to angry or confused responses from fans and general viewers who pointed out Suletta and Miorine's marriage was objectively confirmed both in the anime's final scene and by the characters' voice actors in an audio commentary for the final episode or official final stream after that, and as such no room for "interpretation" exists.[62][59]
The wedding itself was not depicted on-screen, but the characters are shown wearing rings in the final scene of the series, and Suletta's sister Ericht refers to herself as Miorine's sister-in-law. The September 2023 issues of the Animage and Animedia magazines published on August 9 provided Mamiko Noto and Lynn's interpretations of the scene as Ericht behaving like an in-law.[63][64]

![Wiki Mod: Just as a heads-up, we're making a bigger change overall starting tomorrow.
Part of that will be to return to using the English language as our basis for genders/lack thereof as well as for pronoun usage on wiki articles.
An official announcement and details will come out sometime tomorrow when I am not braindead.

![Can we stop using translations as a source for Phantom’s gender and just leave it at Unknown or something
Latest comment: 20:48 9 comments 6 people in discussion
I keep seeing translations being used to define Phantom as female on here and I want to say that in the German translation of Silksong Phantom is referred to with er/ihm/sein, which are masculine pronouns. If we allow translations as sources for a character’s gender, we should be adding “possibly male” to the list, no? Translations are wildly inconsistent for character genders because many languages don’t have neutral pronouns and it’s probably safer to stick to the text written in English, right? ![We're in the process of reviewing and updating genders based on priority and accuracy of sources. We recently got a list of official genders that Team Cherry gave to the translation teams, which we are using as the basis if it's supported. It seems as if some of the teams were matching the "neutral" approximation of their language, while others were using the gender guide.
If you want to talk about this more effectively, I recommend joining the Discord linked in the sidebar, where we have already gone through several waves of this discussion. [REDACTED MOD] 22:28, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
"We recently got a list of official genders that Team Cherry gave to the translation teams" can this list be added to the page as a source then? Because currently there is litterally no evidence that the Spanish translation is any more accurate than the German translation, or the English dialogue Team Cherry themselves wrote for the journal. For the moment this decision reeks of transphobia so please add this supposed list as the source for Phantom's gender as soon as possible. [REDACTED USER] 17:50, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
Yeah like if there's a gender list please show us you're just making it harder for everybody by not showing it [REDACTED USER] 19:08, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Use it as a source please [REDACTED USER] 19:14, 4 November 2025 (UTC)](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:r33o6cyrdvg6b66zsr6zsnf2/bafkreietslldo34vyfl34asuc5gs5n2zey6hynzhr44db2xilgylmicrki)
![It's unfortunate, but the Hollow Knight community does suffer from a transphobia problem, especially in regards to nonbinary or gender non-conforming characters. It took years for Vessels to be acknowledged as genderless, so I don't imagine this being fixed anytime soon for any Silksong characters. [REDACTED USER] 07:22, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
The Hollow Knight Wiki respects the real-life right for expression of gender identity and gender presentation. The issue is when the information we use on the wiki NEEDS to have sources cited. There are several issues preventing us from simply using "they/them" for silksong genders.
Again, we have discussed this at length on the Discord if you wish to converse there. For the time being, we have a system and are sticking to it. [REDACTED MOD] 17:56, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
just cite all the times their pronouns are stated like you did for characters like sherma, pavo, and nuu. there is nothing stopping you from doing it other than transphobia. [REDACTED USER] 20:46, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
You are no longer arguing in good faith. No decisions we make here are due to transphobia or any other personal judgement calls.
