Holy shit this is ridiculous. Also, does anyone know why mapquest overheats my phone? I'd like to switch over to it permanently.

Got Drac's insulin and he has now had his first dose, along with a big brunch. I'm going to be paying this much every two months until he hopefully doesn't need insulin anymore, but it's not a guarantee he won't. Anyway, if you want a fursuit piece from me, I'm lowkey open for comms.

I got issue #2 of Super Creeps! It's full of "oh wow" morsels about horror films, and at least one genuine laugh out loud line! Subscribe to @kellyrobinson.bsky.social's Patreon to get your copy!

"Tell me what 4 animals you are" I can never narrow it down but if it was, like, a LAW that I had to, I think snow leopard, mustang, white-tailed deer, and blue jay.

The cat I couldn't trap this summer has revealed her kittens. There are three, one not pictured. I'm going to try to get them at least slightly socialized if I can, before trapping all three and mom for neutering once the babies are big enough.

Skink update: he's safe outside instead of in my closet, with no trouble at all! Little bitty guy. I think he's an actual lizard, not technically a skink (although stinks are lizards).

My boy Dracula is scared of rain. You know what has to happen for you to be scared of rain? You have to be soaked to the skin, miserable, cold, unable to get dry. He's a former street cat, scarred up and missing teeth and scared of rain even though he will never have to get rained on again.

I'm reading It's Elementary by Elise Bryant, which has been on my TBR shelf for a year. I finally picked it up yesterday and I'm really enjoying it! Good writing and a much different feel from the usual murder mystery.

I think Drac is feeling better. (The bag is empty and I feed friskies to the community cats. My cats get ridiculously overpriced artisinal kibble imported from Canada. I wish I was kidding.)

I was looking for a particular photo and came across this one I'd forgotten about. My breakfast several weeks ago, looking like a duck. (I use the tongs to get toast out of the toaster).

Two halves of a toasted bagel on a green saucer, with a pair of bamboo tongs. The tongs look like a beak and the bagel halves look like eyes.

Okay, this girl turned out to be an already neutered boy! He's microchipped but when I called, he hasn't been marked missing. He's now eartipped and vaccinated, and in the morning I'll release him. He's well fed by the community.

The tabby and white girl is who I'm after right now. It looks like she's very pregnant. 😔 The cat eating is already neutered and as soon as he's done, I'm whisking the food out of her way. She was nosing around the trap a minute ago. Fingers crossed!

I have doubled Timex's space! I ziptied the cages together, with the larger one being bedded with pellet litter. I have a fork to section off parts of the trap, so I can clean the trap when he's in the cage part. When I need to clean the cage, I'll close the drop door and cut the ziptie.

New thread about Timex, the community cat with a bad neck wound that I trapped yesterday and got to the vet. He's recovering well, about to have breakfast. I'll be transferring him to a bigger cage for a while soon but need to get pellet litter to put in it first, since he was neutered too.
