republicans did a political stunt to rile everyone up. They politicized his death to make it advantageous to them. So it would either: 1. Make you mad at Democrats if they voted for it. 2. Allow them to run attack ads saying "Democrats support murder" if they didn't. THIS WAS INTENTIONAL!
