I defended my Phd! I'm grateful for the last three years and proud of the research that came out of my project. I learned so much from great colleagues, collaborators in @prepare4vbd.bsky.social, and of course my supervisors @asstensgaard.bsky.social and @noguesbravo.bsky.social

Really enjoyed the #TIBS2026 conference - lots of new ideas and great talks. Want to give props to @tibsaarhus2026.bsky.social organizers and the catering team for delicious, mostly vegan, and plenty of food. I've had mixed experiences with conference food but this really raised the standard!!

Had some great discussion at my poster at #TIBS2026 on our recent paper on climate change impacts on malaria vector mosquitoes. Thanks everyone who dropped by! It'll still be up for a couple of hours at poster number 2026 (I know - what are the odds?)

Hello Bluesky! I finally made an account on here so I could share a paper that is now out in @globalchangebio.bsky.social! Our projections show climate change will favor three key #malaria vectors, exposing 200 million additional people to these mosquitoes by 2100. doi.org/10.1111/gcb....
