I’ve never really thought of my eyes as different but they *are* really light blue and I have dark hair so they stand out. This is my daughter as a baby… she still has adorably large eyes.

Well, I managed to snag an almost-exact Mercury Cazimi in my solar return chart today! That Scorpio Moon though… 😜

I just saw the most incredible light phenomenon in the sky! A double light halo around the sun with sundogs *and* a mirrored halo.

I also thought this graph was interesting. It indicates lab-confirmed cases (people sick enough to seek medical care and testing) for each flu season since 2009. 2009 was the year that swine flu was circulating but post-2021 seasons show much higher peaks than most pre-pandemic years.

I find this fascinating. The Alberta respiratory virus dashboard actually has some neat interactive graphs. This graph stood out to me - look at the viral typing. H3N2 has been causing the biggest ruckus (which we knew) but it seems like sub-typing is falling behind likely due to system strain.

I cast a horary to find my daughter’s lost glasses and it was truly helpful. Haha. This is the chart and where I found them.

The chart shows Saturn (her glasses) in the Pisces 8th house conjunct Neptune. The signifier fit because her glasses are blue *and* missing. Not only that but she lost them before we went to a funeral.

I’ve been getting the weirdest omens this time around. This was today’s:

I had an omen from this past year that I think I just figured out. One of my June 2025 omens was a maple syrup candle… I think it represented the Canadian wildfire smoke that spread across large swaths of North America. Essentially - Canadian essence being released into the air through fire.

Our wee, aged Chi-Pin had dental surgery today and had 13 teeth extracted. She did well under anaesthesia and is on her way home to us now. ☺️

It’s an app to see what’s happening astronomically in the sky. I don’t use it a lot but it’s handy for locating objects in the sky that aren’t visible to me *or* for identifying objects. For example, I’m sitting at my desk right now and can “read the sky” that would be in front of me:

Introducing… Thor and Loki! These sweet rescued Guinea Pigs joined our family today. Adoption timing: Scorpio Rising chart with a domiciled Mars ruling the 1H and 6H. Rahu partile conjunct the IC in the 5H with the Moon in the Sag 2H.

Attended an outdoor music festival yesterday. Took this photo of the clouds during the final act (The Roots!) when the energy was incredible. I like to think that resonance is reflected in the world around us. Photo is unedited but I did up the exposure because it was dark.

This was last night’s sunset. I’ve never seen anything like it.
