Interception at the Arcane Reactor (FT. @pearlynebentham.bsky.social) Thankfully, our heroes could surprise the enemy and stop the hijacking attempt of the perfidious DREAD MARAUDER... #warcraft #warcraftAU #warcraftart
Under the Light of a magic flow in the background, a Sethrak Cyborg clad in dark SCI-FI garments holding a double edged blade defends himself against the assault of three individuals.

From the left, a Worgen carrying a lightsaber and a gun, dressed with a dark coat and a breastplate points at the enemy. She approaches alongside a Vulpera Knight, clad in a comparatively clearer armor carrying another blade of light of a warm yellow, and symbols upon his shoulders and forehead. They are both assisted by a bird-shaped Drone.

To the right there are a couple of those drones once more attacking the Marauder, as their heavily armored commander in the background commands them thanks to a device on his left ear, while his cannon-like weapon charges up.

the sethrak glass is not called skyglass skyglass is from midnight the sethrak glass is solely vaguely referred as either just glass, or arc-glass, from the arc-glass bindings item

Can we expect the potential appearance of the Sethrak to help us out against the Void? #MidnightQandA

Additions I personally would include in future patches before TWW ends, and still could be included, just in different means: (you can click on the images for descriptions!) #sethrak #worldofwarcraft
It is unknown what the final zone/raid will be for War Within, but let us entertain the idea that involves the Haranir's home turf, we help whatever is needed there while Xal'atath enacts her grand plan. Obviously, what ever she does will kick off the events of Midnight and the Void incursion as a whole. Have the Sethrak at least be there to try and help stop her and then they can be later include in Midnight more prominently as allies against the Void.Xal'atath enjoys toying with her enemies, disguises, visions of despair.

The Sethrak have come to help put an end to her schemes, however, throughout the short-questline experience, we receive various callbacks to Vol'dun's campaign: Vorrik has to tackle with visions of his former friend, Korthek, and it ultimately ends with the Sethrak party (and the player) taking down a vision of Mythrax.

Alternate kicker: Vorrik show the raw power of Sethraliss, calling upon her as a projection (like Talanji does with Rezan) and defeat the vision of Mythrax. Alleria and co show up and Xal'atath does her usual monologue and disappears.Xal'atath succeeds in her plans, leaving Vorrik in a semi state of despair, knowing that what ever she will unleash will be ten-times worse then Mythrax himself. He will lose Sethraliss a second time, and his people will be thrown into chaos once again, if not by one crazed Sethrak seeking to continue Korthek's work, but by the unbridled corruption of the Void that will consume Azeroth.

This would be a great opportunity for someone like Thrall to have a talk with him, hell, they could even mention that the old Horde walked down a dark path just like the Faithless, but they came back in the end. Stronger, more unified, and that the Horde would have a place for the Sethrak when they needed it, for they were not alone in this conflict.

To me, it is a glaring issue when the War Within (which is heavily stated to be an underground expansion, naturally) is including all these subterranean races from far and wide, yet they exclude the Sethrak. No trader NPCs, no side-quests, only ONE in a delve and that is it #sethrak

Couple more, included. #sethrak
The Siren Isle was pulling in the liking of Naga, Vrykul and even pirates to the island in search of the singing crystals, some in particular for a special ring that could grant incredible power.

The Sethrak (via Kasthrik) could have been here to study the krolusks as they are quite abundant around the island, perhaps the crystals would be of some interest, but it would not be a major factor as why they were there. This one is a no-brainer:

The goblins have been causing explosions near a sacred Pa'ku site, but also created a gigantic drill that leads directly to the Undermine. However, the Sethrak not only live fairly closeby, but they surely would've felt the tremors and would have sent one of their own to investigate alongside the Pa'kuai.Undermine(d) added a small sector showing traders like Niffens and Tortollans, the missed opportunity here was to include any Sethrak traders.

Tortollans likely entered through the gigantic drills that lead to the Undermine, so there is no excuse why any Sethrak who'd want to peddle some wares would not follow along.

A small thread of various missed opportunities to include the Sethrak, even in some small capacity: #sethrak #worldofwarcraft
Simple Sethrak NPCs walking around Dornogol, maybe one visiting the trading post. Traders alike. (Much like the Tortollan/Niffen/Nerubians you can find about)Kasthrik (the one who started it all at the start of TWW) should have more of a permanent spot in the Explorers' little abode, maybe having more further interesting insight to her studies as an illusionist. Her thoughts about the civil war of the Sethrak having ended years ago.Given the Sethrak have an incredible long life-span and live deep underground, it would be fascinating to see an ancient bond with the Haranir, both of them sharing an equal concern for the Black Blood. (Orwenya specifically). Vorrik could have ventured out either by his own accord or by Sethraliss' request to see what is going on below.Way back at the start of TWW, I had this thought that maybe the Nerubians and the Sethrak could've had quite a grudge of history, given their ancient history and both living deep below the surface of Azeroth.

While not having a major role, they could have had a few quests here and there, showing that they are keeping vigil over their old rivals. Seeing a similar fate unfolding before the nerubians, the Sethrak would (albeit begrudgingly) aid in their efforts to overthrow Ansurek

Unfortunately, I just do not think they have the time anymore to add them in. They could surprise us with a cameo appearance, maybe set them up to help in Midnight? Who knows. Anyways, that does it for this thread 🐍

Blizzard always talks about asking 'Ok, what kind of characters/races would show up for this' The Sethrak make good candidates to appear in this type of story. Grudge against the Void. Underground homes. Potential to explore their culture that we have not seen much of.

Do you truly think the Sethrak would just sit out the fight against Xal'atath and the threat of the Void? No, I think not. Mythrax may be gone, but his masters that spawned him still persist, especially through Xal'atath, the Harbinger of the Void. They would not let Sethraliss fall a second time.

Not to mention how Vorrik states (though you can either take this as exaggeration or literal) that if Sethraliss did not stop Mythrax, Azeroth would've been screwed. And given how long Sethrak can live for, they must have quite the knowledge baggage / and spite towards the Void. A score to settle.

They have been written as participants during the Troll and Aqir war, when Mythrax decided to steamroll his way over to Vol'dun and got his tentacles kicked in by Sethraliss. So, where are they when the threat of the Void is one again trying to sow chaos?

Especially when the premise of an expansion has us delving into the underground of Azeroth. Undermine. Nerubians, etc, but strangely the Sethrak are completely absent when we have all this (yes its a skybox), but it does show that their society is much larger than the tiny fragment we saw in ToS!

Sometimes I am asked why I care so deeply about the Sethrak, to that I say: They have a lot of potential, and sadly that potential has been wasted for a long time. It is no secret that a LOT of people have been asking for them, even some story relevancy again, given the current threat of the Void.
