Yup, this is what I use as well. Also have a VPN on my router so I can VPN back to home network and sync across internet if I need/want to. Keeps files on my pc, phone, tablet, and steam deck synced.

Lol, I stopped by the Santa Ana mall to kill time till my concert tonight. Entered through macy's, got into the mall proper $250 poorer, but got some nice new dress shirts for work. This mall is balls hot though. In-door mall, but it's got so many skylights it might as well be a green house.

Well fuck. Brick by Brick, my favorite concert venue in San Diego, is shutting down. Tonight was the last Friday concert, and the bass player of the second band collapsed onstage. Rest of the show canceled. When I left they had been doing chest compressions for over 20 minutes. 🙁

Adblock was made for similar reasons the FDA exists. We didn't do it for funsies. They were putting chalk in milk & saw dust in cereal, & every website has become what once was a virus warning. If I didn't need adblock to make your site tolerable I wouldn't use it. The onus is not on the consumer.

I hate this crap at work. These are my options in my career/goal setting. I don't want to do any of that shit. I do not dream of labor. I want to work on comfortable assignments that don't stress me out too much and have my raises keep up with inflation.

Career Preferences
- I want to be a recognized expert and focus on mastering my specialty
- I want to take on challenging assignments that push me outside my comfort zone and help grow
- I want to explore new roles or functions and connect ideas across different areas
- I don't know(yet)

Today's side quest. While looking for a fuzz pedal I decided I liked the Elder God, which is technically just a fuzz face and a green Russian muff with a blend knob. It's over $200. Or I can get a fuzz face clone kit and a green muff clone kit and make DIY parallel jfet buffer circuit for $120....

Yea but I didn't really like them. It was just basically a dashboard soundbar, and they really didn't have any details on speaker type/quality/connection method, etc. Maybe as we get closer to release I'll add them if they improve, but I'd like a more high end sound system with a sub.

yea, same. I still go to the car audio section in Bestbuy sometimes, and it's like walking around an abandoned mausoleum. Just corpses of radios nexts to empty din slots. And the radios that are there don't hold a candle to what a used android phone can do with an aux cable to a stock head unit.

It comes with an AC and Heater standard with physical controls. I'm actually hopeful that the Slate can introduce some kind of aftermarket sound system ecosystem. I'm getting mine with no radio/speakers, and then I'm going to see what my options are for putting in my own speakers and an amp.

I've owned a 99' Chevy S10 & my current 2006 Scion xB that I bought new. A Slate is basically a S10 body, with a square back cab addon it's basically an xB, for exactly what I paid for the xB(adjusted for inflation), & I'm a 3D printing/DIY tech nerd. Yea, I'm the target audience of this thing.
