My wife has some truly amazing parents. Model examples of parents who gave their all to raising 3 kids on low-income, but high-reward jobs. In terms of the way they can see me, and speak to me, in ways my parents didn’t care to, is nothing short of incredible and humbling. I want to be like them.

I’ve lived in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world, as well as out in some rural farm country. I will say, in absolute unquestionable certainty, that rural people are bigger assholes to city people than city people are to rural people. This is just my observation.
