I did some work on improving the filtering for the card list, so I can get from different sets, rarities. Meaning I needed a way to visually see what rarity each card was. So I CSS'ed myself a little gem and also changed the border for noncollectable cards. All this for the deck builder...

8 cards in a grid, showing their titles, some cards have a little dot to denote that rarity, either in silver, light blue, purple, orange.

One card shows a light yellow border meaning it is not a collectible card.

Having made a lot of things generic enough does mean you can rapidly make things like this. My main goal with the design tool is to track all previous versions and this list view is the start of it.

a list of cards all with the same name "Cursed Armour" but with different values in it as a history of all changes made to the card.

Being able to design cards wherever I want is proving to be such a good tool

Spent the evening adding a whole bunch of cards that I had given a cost, name, health and attack. The result with working filtering means I have a pretty overview, for the me. I might consider somehow publishing a read only version of this somewhere. Could be cool to design in the open perhaps?

A list of playing cards for a collectible card game, showing their play cost, their name, card text, health and attack values. every card is shown in it's own colour.

Am I putting too much effort into making this?

A grid of playing card from a card game that is being designed. All the cards use the same picture. The cards are multi-coloured to represent that card's class and element in this game.

I actually managed to get the endpoint for getting cards to work properly, added some data from my old Excel worksheet. Next steps: add a details endpoint, and start building out a user interface with proper login.
