It's been bugging me ever since, I don't want to fail the year because of some dick of a professor but I can't bring myself to give up the idea that easily. Like, the whole point I want to write this is because of shit like this???

"I would avoid writing about Gender, it's too political and might make it difficult for your professor to be unbiased" LIKE WTAF?? I talked with her a bit more about it and she understands how stupid it is but just said all she can do is advise me to pick a different topic.

Professor to work with me throughout the year. So today I go to my tutor and ask for any feedback on my initial proposal, cause I really really want this to get through. And the main advice I get (from someone who has no issue with my gender)

So I start getting genuinely excited to write this, start planning out a short story I'm going to work on, characters, rough draft etc etc. this has been basically all I'm thinking about while I'm at Uni or on the bus or anything. I'm meant to submit my proposal tomorrow to be paired up with a
