I loved this pattern in Kotlin, it’s great to be able to use it in Swift now.

To be fair, it was washable paint on the outside glass. I understand your disagreement, but it gets some attention without damaging the painting in any way.

I get the sentiment, but it's really mathematically impossible to fix a huge systemic issue like this with individual action. We are not even close. Governments need to act, and protests are the only way we have to try to get them to act. Millions of lives depend on it.

Thanks. Most of the country got the power back by the end of the first day, so it’s okay now. But there were some difficult situations in hospitals, stopped trains, etc.

I live in Portugal and no one has any idea what caused the blackout yet. This is really just speculation at this point.

Hundreds of millions of bees, almost 80% of bees in the US, have died over he past eight months. Researchers don't know why. Here is what this means:
Bees play a critical role in U.S. food production. In addition to making honey, they pollinate 75% of the fruits, nuts and vegetables grown in the U.S.
That's $15 billion worth of crops. Shook said the current losses are unsustainable.
"If this is a multi-year thing, it'll change the way we consume food in the United States," Shook said. "If we lose 80% of our bees every year, the industry cannot survive, which means we cannot pollinate at the scale that we need to produce food in the United States."
