Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 6hWe’re glad you’re feeling better today, we hope your ear heals quickly 🤗💜 020 2
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 6hMy girls love their water fountains and because they have a secure garden and don’t interact with other animals I’ve stopped using spot one as I don’t like the thought of insecticides on them. I only use complete dry foods rather than complementary, but I’m sure some dint understand the difference. 010 1
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 6hYes, we’re learning so much more, I remember when I had my first boys the food available was limited and they used to eat all sorts of human food that contained onion and garlic, as we didn’t realise how bad that was for their kidneys, although interestingly neither of them had kidney issues. 120 2
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 6hHave a takeout too Sunny. How are you feeling today 🤗💜 120 2
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 6hShe was a beauty, adopted at three and returned to the shelter at 11 as her family, including the dog she loved to curl up with, emigrated. I’d gone to meet another cat but she kept bonking her head against the glass to get my attention and I couldn’t resist her. ❤️🐾 120 2
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 8hI was just grateful though that, apart from Trish, all the others were fortunate to live long enough to become SuperSeniors, many sadly don’t. 020 2
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 8h(in my case seven SuperSeniors all with a different range of issues, for example Boo had overactive thyroid, kidney disease from cysts on the kidneys, diabetes, high blood pressure, Horner’s syndrome and cardiomyopathy, she was also deaf! I’ve also dealt with blindness, throat and mammary tumours!) 230 3
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 8hIt’s not unthoughtful, it comes with experience, every cat has a slightly different issue as they age, so the more cats you have who are lucky enough to reach SuperSenior status the more knowledge and experience you have. It sounds like your lovely pawrents have already though of the implications.🤗 130 3
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 8hShe was, and she was pottering around and eating right up until the end. She ate first breakfast happily and had her pawtrol outside then refused second breakfast and and just looked unhappy, so I knew it was time. She still looked good, you wouldn’t have known anything was wrong! She was 18. 110 1
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 8hYou’re beautiful Nancy , you have floofy paws like me. Happy Caturday dear friend. 🤗💜 000 0
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 8hYes, you had such a nightmare! I refuse metacam, Plum had to be on it in the end, she had renal failure but had an inoperable slow growing tumour in her bladder, she was okay for several months on gabapentin to keep her comfortable, in the end had to have metacam, her kidneys gave up within weeks. 120 2
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 8hShe just eats the sauce of jelly and not too much of the meat, but it gives her more moisture and she does drink water too. 020 2
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 8hI can imagine, when I had Gemma I worked my way through so many different foods with Gemma as we couldn’t establish what triggered her tummy, but luckily I discovered the RC Sensible for sensitive tummies and fortunately, it works for Phoebe too. She can eat a little Felix original and soup as 1/2 120 2
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 9hIt’s a lovely spot Murray, stay and enjoy the sunshine for as long as you want 🤗💜 #HWCafe 020 2
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 9hGoodbye, enjoy your weekend and we’ll see you next week 🤗💜 #HWCafe 130 3
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 9hIt’s a balance between maintaining weight and not putting extra pressure/damage on the kidneys. Luckily Tia is already a petite cat and she will eat her renal biscuits if she’s really hungry! Some drugs are really bad for kidney cats, including metacam, so I’m really glad hers was picked up early! 110 1
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 9hI have the added complication of having Phoebe with her overactive thyroid who can’t have fish, and who has a sensitive tummy, so I have to stick to meat varieties and keep Ohoebes sensitive tummy is just out of Tia’s way! It is an extra complication when they have allergies or sensitivities! 😬 120 2
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 9hI have renal failure so have been in renal food for two years, it’s not as tasty as normal food, sometimes I eat it, sometimes I just lick the gravy off and sometimes I’ll ignore it altogether so Mum has to try another one, or some soup. Or just a little bit of Phoebe’s Felix! 😻💜 110 1
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 9hOh yes, Mum does that, they have to be in a neat pile 😻💜 #HWCafe 010 1

Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 9hThat’s very clever, I wait until Mum dishes something up and puts it in front of me and ignore it until she gives me something I like 😹 She throws a lot of food away 😬💜 #HWCafe 240 4
Tia 💜 & Phoebe 🧡 @tia-phoebe.bsky.social · 9hWe hope they have a lovely day at the airport, a strange place to visit, the cafe is much more fun 🤗💜 😹#HWCafe 130 3
