Just restocked a few leggy lads (sharovipteryx) (just been freshly legged), also a small sack of gorgonops...

(Just showing you the colours here because I forgot you can't DM images?? Ok) The white and navy are like this! If I order the black, it's a slightly deeper pile fur so I'd use a slightly fluffier white to match as well.

Why yes, I did play with my toys at the museum. I enjoyed this museum a lot, small but I was there for a good couple of hours!

Tbh I really enjoyed taking part in the kid friendly activities too! Was always too anxious to actually draw anything at the paleoart events, but colouring a little paper model and completing puzzles is more relaxed and fun. Plus it's just delightful to see kids having the best time ofc!!

Good morning DinoCon! I'm carrying around a few thylacine joeys today. If you are lucky I may bestow upon you a baby. Like a stork!

The hooked claws also make him kind of alarmingly good at climbing. Sometimes helped by the wing magnets.

They're little plastic claws, and surprisingly sharp haha! @palaeoplushies.com gave me this random bag of them some years ago, not sure where they came from but they were fun to finally use. I poked tiny holes in the minky and pushed em through, and they actually stayed in place fine once stuffed.

Work in progress of plush microraptor hands. A pipe cleaner is twisted into a three fingered shape around plastic talons, then pushed into the fabric hand shape so the claws stick through.

Little demonstration of his wings, I'm very pleased with how I got them to work! I tried out a split wing shape that can fold over itself. Each has one magnet in the primary feathers and two in the secondaries to hold it in a natural looking open or folded pose.

Shiny new microraptor! It's been a while since I've had a fun, experimental personal project like this. He's got sharp little claws and realistically foldable wings. (I'll be carrying him around at #DinoConUK, not a vendor this year but I can't resist making a new creature to bring along anyway...)

A sparkling plush microraptor with its wings spread. Its plumage is midnight blue with silver glitter, apart from the white chest and two long white tail feathers. The face and feet are bright blue, and the eyes are silver. It has shiny black plastic claws.

The plush microraptor perches on the arm of a garden chair, balanced on its two feet with its wings folded at its sides. The secondary feathers overlap the primary feathers.

The plush microraptor leans forwards, still perched and balanced on the arm of the chair.

A plush of a fluffy bipedal dinosaur. Its body is light pink and white, and its long lemur-like tail has thick stripes of white alternating with pastel pink, purple, blue and green toward the tip. Its snout, hands and birdlike feet are pale blue, and it has a purple mask marking over its eyes. It's sitting upright with its long feet sticking out in front.

For Easter I made a hot cross numbat! I think it would eat raisins like ants.

A fluffy plush hot-cross-bun-like critter on a plate. It's round, legless, and has a bushy squirrely tail, a pointy face and big beady eyes. Its fur is ginger and beige with a few pom pom raisins dotted about.

Sometimes I just enjoy the way plushies look tucked into their boxes before I close them! This gorgonops looked extra cute peeking out at me... Bye bye have fun (Also I love that someone tried a bandana on this cotylorhynchus hehe... I'm not sure it quiiite fits, but we tried...)
