I think a lot of people's issues with friends having sex comes down to trust and control. They can't possibly fathom that two people can have sex w/ each other and stay friends w/o emotional attachment. Mind you, just because two people have sex doesn't mean they're compatible relationship wise.

When you really sit and think about it, it's nonsensical to get all bent out of shape over people who have sex with friends. We have sex with complete strangers we meet off apps, in bars, parties and never bat an eye but having sex with a person you already know and trust is crossing the line. LOL

The two best managers I've ever had were an Asian woman and a Black woman but the Black woman and I have been acquaintances/friends for years before I joined the company so that helped signficantly. Worst manager hands down was a white man but that was moreso because he was inexperienced.

It's been a mixed bag for me honestly. Women have consistently been better managers but men, especially white men, tend to give more autonomy in my opinion. From my experience in corporate, white men don't gaf what you do as long as you get the work done. Women tend to be more micromanagers.

What makes this current situation more annoying is that I submitted a proposal to another, white-owned, company and I was nervous as fuck that I overcharged and they accepted the proposal, no questions asked. Meanwhile, I'm going back and forth like we're at a swap meet with this other client. 🙄
