I got a nice hike in today in the Gatineau Park. The fall colours are really coming in and the forest what’s beautiful.

One of the things I love about these hills is that you can THINK it’s dry and dead, and then be completely surprised… #BloomScrolling #Plants #Flowers #MentalHealthHike

The trail is lined with cool manzanita trees. These beauties have a deep red colour to their bark, which peels and fades as it grows older #MentalHealthHike

For today’s #MentalHealthHike I visited an old friend, St Joseph’s Hill Open Space Preserve. This hill is perched above the Lexington Reservoir, and the Highway 17 snakes it’s way past Los Gatos, up through the Santa Cruz Mountains, and then down to Santa Cruz and the Pacific Ocean.
A wooden sign in front of a stand of Eucalyptus trees. It reads
