Not sure if I'll ever defeat or properly control it in truth, and it's upsetting because there's so many good and iconic and fantastic stories out there in every form of media to enjoy, but I am quite literally too soft and too emotionally empathetic to make it through them undevastated 🙃

Like it's to the degree that I find it difficult to engage with many stories and storytelling media because I know finishing it will emotionally pain me - hence why I've not finished so many games or books or stuff and swapped to subsisting on fan content and endless imagination

Been doing some thinking about why I very often have a strongly emotionally negative reaction to the ending of stories / games / media of any sort, and I think it's partially the obvious sense of having an empty hole replace story but also because it feels almost unrealistic?

My experience with other games has definitely turned me off to it; for all I like Genshin characters I still almost never play the game Like other games I play will give me a full kit of high end stuff for 35 quid, what do you mean gacha wants me to spend hundreds for a vague chance at the boy >=c
