We have a deep bench, and we seem to be taking care that bad candidates don’t move forward. Much of what Schumer, who is not in power, does to make less bad is behind the scenes. Glad to see that he might be recognized for that?

I remember the Tylenol poisoning incident. The CEO of J&J immediately pulled all Tylenol off the shelves until the cause was identified. It’s a business school case study in ethical leadership. Unfortunately there are no more recent cases of ethical leadership. Those days are evidently long gone. 😳

I’m thinking “the plug” is connected to far more than is evident on the surface. To be clear, I’m not advocating for AI particularly. I’m just saying be careful about how you remove it from systems that much of the world relies on.

Washington destroyed USAID markets, for one thing. Input and borrowing costs are painfully high. Add tariffs and the Iran war impact on fuel and fertilizer costs. Net net: voting has consequences and Iowa farmers are feeling those consequences right now.
