While right now you can only add three custom domains, you have unlimited aliases for all three. We have a suggestion now under discussion to increase the custom domain limit, and we'd love to have your feedback here too: ideas.tb.pro/p/increase-custom-doma…

We have our own API docs at: webextension-api.thunderbird.net We also have a linter (to verify add-on code): github.com/thunderbird/webext-linter There is an effort led by one of our team members to create a new ATN, though no timeline on that yet.

Thunderbird is working on its own design system and language called Bolt! We're also working on making slower, smaller, and more careful design changes and learning from user feedback. Sometimes, what works for Firefox, design wise, doesn't work for Thunderbird, despite the shared code base.

Au fur et à mesure que le projet évoluait d'un prototype vers une fonctionnalité utilisable, nous nous sommes penchés sur un enjeu de taille : améliorer l'organisation et la planification des requêtes. Au cours de ce talk, j'introduirai brièvement l'utilisation de Rust dans Thunderbird, et je présenterai les tenants et les aboutissants de ce mini projet, ses différentes itérations, ainsi que les défis rencontrés en chemin (dont quelques disputes avec le système de typage de Rust).
