Development's been a little slower recently while we've been dealing with events. The good news? We're getting back to making the game. More levels. More hazards. More Thulhu. #TheBalladOfTheThulhu #CuteThulhu #GameDev #IndieDev #UE5

Development has been a bit quiet recently due to some personal and family circumstances. Things are improving now, and I'm looking forward to getting back into things soon. Thanks to everyone who's continued to follow the project during the slower weeks. #GameDev #IndieDev #life #A&ESucks

Week 28 Update! I have now started replacing the old platforms in the Fungi Forest and about a quarter of the way through the rework. Also upgraded the save system, linked the Witch Shop, points, and upgrades into it, and added a forced respawn system. #gamedev #indiedev #cutethulhu

⛏️ Deep Mines W.I.P ⛏️ Nearly done with the level art pass 2, main focus now is lighting + readability. (some areas still too dark). UE5 lighting is a constant balance. Lumen + fog can look great, but small tweaks can completely change a scene. #gamedev #indiedev #ue5 #leveldesign

Hey, I’m Wolfy 👋 I’m building a Lovecraft-inspired 2.5D platformer called The Ballad Of The Thulhu. It started as a game jam project (Epic MegaJam 2025 – Army of Two winner) and is now growing into a full game. I’ll be posting dev progress, screenshots, WIP updates. #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame
