Stoked to get back into photography and to bring this lil guy to Chongqing and Chengdu (yep I'm going to China again) in a week.

So AHS Apocalypse is basically X-Men Days of Future Past. I enjoyed both though

Made some updates to my site over the holiday break: - Stagger animation - Theme toggle - Draggable photo stack for Now page, I wanted to feel like I’m flipping through prints - New Now post, probably the longest thing I've published

New year, new(ish) coat of paint: thu-le.com But the most important thing (almost drove me insane) - I finally fixed the issue where my variable font’s text rendered thinner on Chrome compared to Safari because Chrome struggles with the OTF/CFF2 version’s outlines. I switched to TTF and voila. TIL.

Didn’t expect to write this, but I’m glad I captured it while it was happening. Closing out 2025 with the most present-tense post I’ve written. thu-le.com/blog/being-h...

Best thing I saw on LinkedIn today: ask ChatGPT “is there a seahorse emoji?” and watch as it spirals out of control

It’s not even 24 hours yet but I absolutely loooove the iPhone 17 in black. Got tired of the natural titanium look of my 15 Pro and realized I don’t really use the pro features

000

Thu @thu-le.com · 11/09/2025

I’m happy with my iPhone 15 Pro, but for the first time since iPhone 11 a non-Pro iPhone seems really tempting to me: new selfie camera sensor and seemingly better image quality (less artificial processing), cheaper, lighter, brighter, better battery, 120Hz, I don’t need RAW photos…
