Tried recreating this Ad for a video segment. Still struggling to find the font of the lower text. An entire afternoon with Adobe Fonts didn't turn up anything close.

A bit confused right now. In what way is Budanov saying "NK is learning and gaining a lot of experience from fighting in Ukraine that will then translate into difficult times on the Korean peninsula" a wish by Ukraine for war to happen on the Korean peninsula?

One of the things that really worried Allies on the lead-up to the Gulf War was that by all accounts Iraqi ground-crews and pilots sometimes were putting up insane metrics (aircraft readiness which was at 70-75%, aircraft turn-around times, sorties per day).

Iraqi pilots were getting medals from Saddam himself for not wastefully dropping bombs during the Iran-Iraq war (due to Iraqi bomb shortage).

€630M, spread 4 ways, about €157M per country. The current Finnish government has wasted more than on subsidies to their poltical buddies. Additionally, we can stand-up production of the kits in the north and pull money across these countries. So you can frame this investment as coming back.

Each of these jets can carry any where from 4 pods carrying 7 of these APKWS systems. So about 28 of these per plane, about 4-6k across the total aircraft inventory. Each of these costs about €21k, which is a lot, but buying 30k of these across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland would be about

Working together by pulling all Nordic fighter aircraft (about 230-250 aircraft) equipped with cheap systems like AKPWS. Would be the best method to reduce the size of the first raid.

Well this hit 100k yesterday and a nice way to celebrate this number was touching 1 km of rock, mud and grass for every 10k views. A nice day hike that was 12 km. Nice views, nice air, nice people, nice animals.

So this is why DTIC hasn't been working on months? It has been bothering so much but this is bleak as hell. DOT&E reports being killed off as well. Total retreat of really useful (journalistic/history/news wise) resources the DoD had. Whats next? Dvids is only available with CAC?

SPY-1D (V) and the guy he tells you not to worry about (SPY-6). I think this should have about 4k element slots, but i didn't stop to count. The dimensions are for the array face populated by the elements.

Pulling this out to show the Commander why that lone INDOPACOM early PAC-2 battery using rounds smuggled from CENTCOM (NK style) is not making it against those incoming DF-26s.

The things a properly equipped Ukrainian force would have done to this convoy is just something.... In the early days, the Russians kept doing a million of these things that a well equipped Ukraine would have absolutely punished so heavily.

In any case, changing back to steam has little to do with speeding up production. At first, it would require a major redesign to include steam generation systems, piping and retraining of both navy personnel and yard workers. So delivery would go down and construction time would go up. As would risk

In addition to that the Nimitz and Ford are pretty different classes so ofc the first class of an entirely new design incorporating many new and unproven technologies is going to take much longer to enter the fleet. In any case, it took about 8-10 years for Nimitz carriers to go from keel to USN.

Indeed, it is a fairly normal and common thing today. So normal and widespread that the US anticipated 30 yrs ago that "course changing" missiles would proliferate so all current PATRIOT variants have been tested against them using the US' own "course changing missile" (the original MaRV)

This is the main yard (Ingalls), it had two LHAs (bigger than WW2 carriers), three LPDs, and four destroyers fitting or under construction at the same time. This is close to 200k tons of vessels under construction/fitting out.

This is a satellite image I commissioned in 2024. It shows more (7) modern destroyers under construction at Bath Iron Works (one of the smaller US military yards) than any single Korean shipyard has ever built.

The missile uses a simple ball and socket nozzle setup. It was designed by United Technologies's Chemical Systems Division. It was later made by Hamilton Sundstrand but it might be made by someone else.

Tfw have to use a 2 KT warhead because the MSR has a resolution basket measured in hundreds of meters. Spartan flying into the heavens with a 5 MT warhead and a rough idea (down to a mile) of where the warheads are:

LoADs/HibEx were even smaller funkier/smaller Sprints but still had nuclear warheads. HEDI (which wad mostly for experimentation) was effectively a HTK Sprint (it reused many parts from it). THAAD's seeker/other stuff come from this program.
