It's odd to think it's been a month without Pi. I still feel like I expect to see him again, hiding in one of his usual spots or playing with his sister. Though the initial intense grief has mellowed into something numb he's still on my mind, and often in my dreams. 😿

Pi passed this afternoon surrounded by family. Thank you to my friends for your support during this tough time, he knew he was loved. 😿

We got some very sad news from the vet today about our little man Pi. We and his sister are doing our best to keep him happy, comfortable, and remind him how much we love him.

Something like this, just imagine more logic, and conditionals, and expensive operations. But like if a is bad, move on to b, and if it is good no need to ever calculate c.

PHP code.

$item = LazyCollection::make(function () use ($something) {
if ($something) {
yield get('a');
}

yield get('b');
yield get('c');
})->first(fn($it) => valid($it));

Quick approach, but bomething like this perhaps?

A code editor with HTML, CSS, and a visual preview showing how to use flexbox to make equal-sized buttons in a row, with a larger one automatically wrapping onto a new row.

Back in 2022, I did a "draw OCs poorly" and true to the word did as such. Despite my lack of artistic experience (programming is more my forte) it was a lot of fun! There's something soothing about painting. Now that my X (the everything app) account is empty, I figured I should reshare it here.

Painted character art on mini canvases. In order: a mummy, a robot looking at a rainbow, a turian, a Halo Spartan who "had to do it to em," a cat, a screenheaded robot, Raiden Metal Gear, an exo and ghost, the watermelon exo.

As a commissioner, it's always kind of fun doing it too. One of my favorite ones is:

Couldn't help but commission some art of ALR from @ejsu28.bsky.social the other week after seeing his awesome piece of Tech Jacket in the same style. I think this came out just as awesome! Thanks again 😄

The thing I hate about fantasy is that it isn't real. No matter how hard I try, I'll never be able to Wild Shape: Earth Myrmidon (Baldur's Gate 3) despite the fact it'd be really cool and gender.

They were not dead! 😭 And as far as I know it was only a hunch that the roots might be growing into the septic system, but no actual study to prove it.

Fanart of @cainomura.bsky.social's mothman

A painting of the face of a mothman on a mini black canvas. They have two large white eyes and an orange skull-like bone beneath them that extends across the cheeks and forms their fanged upper jaw. A few tufts of grey fur dot the neck and upper head.

This little creature made me late for work today. It kept wanting to get into the house and when it saw me decided to hide under my car and refuse to get out. Cute though!

Wrapped is fun and all but you listen to one song or artist on repeat during one week of the year and they become forever immortalized. The top ones are accurate though.

Spotify Wrapped. Top Artists: Metric, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nicholas Britell, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Ladytron. Top Songs: Stone Window, Kimono dans l'Ambulance, Humbug Mountain Song, Rawhide, Fleez. Minutes Listened: 32,850.
