Mildly surprising to me how much the AI use has tainted my broader touhou enjoyment… it’s 2 games I don’t have to play, and there are plenty of great fanworks to continue enjoying if I don’t support the main series going forward, but I just don’t get that excited feeling when I see touhou since then

I’m 4 hours into this ~25-hour (!) audiobook and loving it, I highly recommend it—it’s closest in tone to Abercrombie-esque grimdark fantasy, with a heavy focus on politics. I am picky picky picky about W40k and have only ever liked Day of Ascension and the first Eisenhorn despite trying many books.
