It’s not impossible I saw this Dangaioh preview since it mentions multiple pilots (mostly women) and psychic powers but I don’t remember owning the issue it’s from It seems like there’s not a lot on archive.org and reddit discussion mentions that the manga chapters in each issue complicate rights

I’ve tried to narrow it down to issues I remember owning in hopes of finding an archive, it would have had to have been in like 1997-2001 since I was in high school grabbing random issues along with Slayers on VHS as it came out lol The first issue I owned has Lina and the Bless Blade on the cover

I think Zakesta Z is still my favorite from that dev bundle I hope it's good forever

The sound design is pretty great and LOUD AS FUCK and I'm fond of "let go of the trigger and you vacuum up medals" as a mechanic

I gave Kaikan another shot yesterday and liked it a lot more since I was *expecting* the crazy screen rotation
