iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I am just so in love with this piece of 'old' tech. I've had a Pebble watch on my wrist for over 10yrs. Just can't be beat in terms of physical buttons where you don't have to look at the watch to control your music and podcasts. So excited that Pebble is being brought back!!

My heart hearts reading this. 3 cars wow. I had a Time Steel too! Loved it. I so wanted them to make the Time 2 - that would have been my absolute dream smartwatch. Sadly that wasn't meant to be...but mayyybe just maybe it might now.

I have a friend who migrated off last year because of the controversy that happened with the founder back then. But they just migrated back because wasn't getting the same level of subscriptions / reach than before.

I've owned about 8 of these over the years. Have had all the different models. But the one on my wrist now is my last one! Somehow the battery is still going. So I am totally ready for what comes out next and will be first in line!

The Pebble smartwatch is making a comeback

So Pebble was early in the smartwatch game and got a niche following. Fitbit then bought them. Then Google bought Fitbit. And Pebble kind of died but a small group of enthusiasts (called rebble) made the software workable with some hacks But now it's coming back! www.theverge.com/2025/1/27/24...

Spent 3hrs today doing business admin and accounting stuff. And then another 1.5hrs recovering from it. Sometimes running a startup is unsexy 😅. But it's got to be done!

This! Sometimes it can be incredibly isolating and lonely working solo! Always good to get *some* social contact, bounce ideas and solve problems together by sharing stuff! 🫶

Stopping X. Every time I opened it I felt bad. Will only be posting on here and Instagram (same handle) for startup/ maker / building in public stuff.

Patrice!! Yes!! Happy to be here! The community feels great. I'm so late. I was here when it started then took a break because no one was here. Now it feels good

🫶 thanks Justin Oh and thanks for making that bluesky starter pack. Helped immensely! Just got back on here and loving it

Morning! Off to the cafe to get a head start of customer support requests! As a solo maker even though I do it every day, it's the one job I always procrastinate on. Usually get to it around 3pm each day. Today...9am going to get it done now! Then marketing and start coding a new feature today.

Ok I'm back on here! Not sure how this happened but somehow got 4.6k followers since I last looked?!? I think I had less than 100 before. Will be posting updates on what it's like building Llama Life as a solo founder. Sharing stuff as a I go. Good to be back.
