Frustrated, he ranted to friends about how he'd have to switch doctors because the prescription he got made everything worse. Also, women had an irrational hatred for hats. Now his wife and her sister kept on telling him to get rid of his. Ridiculous, his friends agreed, the hat was great.

Thing is, every time he left the house, his wife said, "Stop wearing that hat." She had never liked it. He liked the hat a lot. Tom in Accounts was green with envy, and Gabler had started wearing one too. What did she know about hats anyway? She never wore them. Meanwhile, the headaches got worse.

Some analyses are like the guy who went to his doctor b/c he had mysterious recurring headaches. The doctor walked him through his routines, agreed it was strange, and prescribed medication for a trial period to see if things got better. The guy took the medication but nothing got better. #writing

Contentment is climate. It's the baseline of all the weather, what kind of heat you have to face, what kind of rain you have to deal with, whether you get snow or monsoons or a spell of random frogs (apparently that happens).

Like the weather, happiness comes and goes. There will be cold days of melancholy/sadness, or hot sticky days of annoyance and aggravation. There could be a sudden downpour or a heatwave. In all this, happiness can pop up suddenly like a brigth ray of sunshine or a sudden spell of much-needed rain.

From how this conversation is going, the main takeaway is that GenAi is akin to GoT S8. It tells the story, yes, but the overall effect is so mediocre (or worse) it basically tanks the whole point of making the thing.
