$A photo of a handful of tall conifers, shot from below and looking almost straight up. The image has had a bleach bypass filter applied, creating a very strong contrast so that the trees are just profiles against the sky, and the sky itself is a hypersaturated indigo. The two most prominent trees are snags, dead trees standing. One has lost most of its branches, forming a jagged spear. The other is messy, with many shorter limbs and even some needles left in a few places. A few other trees, more in the background, are fully alive, with branches and needles that form intricate fractal patterns in the high contrast. Two jet contrails cross through the middle of the frame.$
