It seems like the only time anyone ever reads my bio (and sometimes my posts) is if I say something to offend them. And they only look at my bio to find something to strike back at me with. And they ALWAYS use the "single since birth" part to do it. 🙄 EVERY TIME I say my opinion, 💩 hits the fan.

I wonder why some gamers dislike retro (and retro style) games and only plays modern games? Same goes for some who only play retro. I like both. Sure, I prefer modern graphics and open world games, but I still respect and collect retro when I can. I have hundreds of retro style games on Switch 1.

I just can't get a break when it comes to physical video game prices. Even when it's just a retro collection re-release, it's still asinine in price. Sometimes I wonder if I should find a new hobby? Video games are killing me. I'm having to pass on SO MANY because of the jackass prices. 🤬

I can't believe that even on a legal document from a courthouse, there was an option for what pronoun you identify as (you know, like "He/Him and She/Her" etc.). Seriously? I thought that crap was only an internet thing that some idiots made up and started doing? 🤦‍♂️ My mom had no clue what it meant.

I see some people here on Bluesky post about buying (or planning to buy) new video games (and sounding like they intend to play them) multiple times in the duration that I'm still playing one particular game. I've been playing Black Flag Resynced since shortly after launch. I take my time.

Switch 2 games are TOO EXPENSIVE. Especially first party. I'll never be able to collect them like I did with the Switch 1. Just bought a used Switch 2 game on eBay, and even a used game came up to $60. I can't get a break. The only option is to quit gaming. But I have no other hobbies. I NEED MONEY!

Wow! I can't believe my landlord died around 2 weeks ago and I was never told. Only reason I know now is because a neighbor told me. That explains why he wasn't cashing the rent check. Now I have to worry about what will happen if/when his son takes over. This month has been SO stressful. 😟 ✝️

Why do people always act like pre-ordering a game is the only way to get it? Every time a new game is announced people go bananas pre-ordering. How can people play several different games at a time (going from one to the next) before the last one is even finished? I play each game until it's finished, THEN I go to something new. I can't focus on multiple games at a time. I lose interest, and get confused over the different controls. 😵‍💫 🎮

How can people stand the taste of alcohol? Every drink I ever had with alcohol in it tasted like it was tainted with bug poison or something. It's so foul. It basically IS poison. That's why people 🤮 when they have too much. I'm glad I hate it, or else (with my depression) I'd be an alcoholic.

Went to Long John Silver's for the first time in over 25 years. And it's the LAST time I ever go there again. Never before have I ate such over priced food (and appetizer sized meals) that tasted so cheap and stale. A total waste of money. Their waffle fries were like rubber. Why no regular fries? 😒

One of the mistakes I made when I joined Bluesky was following "Starter Packs" of users. I was desperate for follow-backs. You know, to make me look like I was "somebody". Hence, I was following a LOT of people I didn't relate to. I've now been blocking many. Though some didn't deserve blocking.

The sad part about my hardcore game collecting is that it's the same year (2006) when my family and I all moved from California. And life was chaotic. And I eventually stopped playing games with my family. So my collecting life became my loner life. I never got to play most games WITH anyone. 😔

I think that all of my years of obsessive game collecting (instead of playing) destroyed a big part of the gamer I once was. I don't feel the same magic in games as I used to. It's annoying when guys use a picture of an anime girl (or any female at all) for their display pic. It always makes me think that they're a girl. Just a small annoyance. I just saw an old article that stated the NBA Jam series of video games was retired on 1/19/2023. Why did I not know this? I've wanted a new one for SO long. This is very depressing. I care nothing about sports, but NBA Jam was special to me. I loved the untraditional rules. Real rules are boring.

I don't think I've ever seen a reaction video on YouTube that felt genuine and real (not many anyway). Whether people are reacting to video game or movie trailers, or music videos etc., their reactions are always fake and exaggerated. A perfect example is the late Etika. He used to act crazy (RIP).
