Two meta-analyses of P4C (Yan et al. 2018, n=10 studies; Wei & Chen 2025, n=33 studies, three-level model) converge on the same finding: strong, consistent effects on critical thinking and reasoning, much smaller effects on reading/maths attainment. Evidence roundup: buff.ly/8YuB89Y
