The storm uprooted the jalapeños & I pulled the rest of the oregano. My family has been laughing at my gardening attempts for decades but this year the freezer is full & I don’t have any more room for this harvest. Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t.

That’s good feedback, that part may be confusing. Yes Green Parker is my 5x great grandfather! The famous Cpt John Parker who led the Minutemen on the Lexington Green was my 5x great uncle. I learned so much last summer. It was life changing & made me feel I belonged somewhere in a way I never have

Thx for reading my family story! I researched this w my genealogy from my dad & the help of the Nat Park Service in MA. Many of the British were buried where they fell along the road & the farmers in their family plots or local cemeteries.

It's such a big issue, I was relieved & happy to see it tackled. We don't talk about it. That was a gift your dad gave you. I do write in my journals, but publishing I am more careful. I think you could write a story about finding those letters to your mom. Incredible expectations a mother carries.
