We had multiple sound cards in our PC in the early 90s and you had to physically open up the Case, read the manuals of said cards and switch jumpers around / change dip switch settings on each of them to get them to work simultaneously without glitches. 020

Right now we have < 1,500 error prone q-bits with no possible scaling in sight. Even if quantum computing is ready in 20 years, there are multiple (quite elegant) solutions to protect BTC. 040

The low power mode for the ESP32 board I mention above seems to be pretty decent, though. The weather display runs for several months on one charge. 010
