Having just read @travisbaldree.bsky.social 's cozy fantasy novels, Kindle is now telling me that there's an entire genre dedicated to this. Pretty sure these books, combined with the delightful @tkingfisher.com novels and Bujold's Penric series, Kindle has me buttoned up for a few months, here.

Today I'm listening to #applemusic and the "I miss 90s Indie" channel. We lived in Madison, WI in the mid-90s, and listened almost exclusively to WMAD. This is basically that radio station. Memories of being a young parent, working all the time, playing M:tG, making lifelong friends.

I used to get really bad headaches about once a week. One of the side-effects of this new anxiety med is headaches, so I worried that this would be awful. After being on this for weeks, I don't recall the last time I had a headache. "Must have been the anxiety," I said, thinking back on 56 years.
