Chemo has got the better of me. I'm not going to the Villa tonight. It shouldn't feel like such a big deal, but it's the first thing cancer has stopped me from doing and I just feel so defeated. Hopefully a strong team and a win. I'll be cheering on from home. 🙏 #AVFC

Re: Emi's potential availability tomorrow, goalkeepers actually play on with broken fingers pretty regularly, often aided by a custom glove that allows them to tape the injured digit to a healthy one for added support. Don't be surprised if Adidas are scrambling one to him as we speak. #AVFC

I'm not comfortable with the level of abuse being put Jaden Philogene's way. The lad has played a grand total of 270 Premier League minutes in his first real season playing at this level. He's also turned in one top class display against Bayern. He's finding his way. Give him a chance. #AVFC
