Ich bin für ca. 2 Wochen in der Ukraine unterwegs. Kyjiw, Charkiw und Ostukraine. Die Fahrt von Wien nach Kyjiw dauert mit der Bahn mehr als 21 Stunden. Mit dem Nachtzug direkt von Bahnsteig 12 des Wiener HBf in den Krieg.

Heute denke ich an die ukrainierinnen und ukrainer, die in diesem Krieg verwundet oder getötet wurden. Die Schätzungen reichen von 400.000 Toten und Verwundeten bis zu einer Zahl von 1,5 Millionen. Dieses Foto entstand im August 2024 an einem Stabilisationspunkt nahe der Front in Isjum.
