Center Across Selection isn’t a new feature in #Excel. If you're on the Beta Channel, you can now access it directly from the Ribbon instead of the Format Cells dialog. Question...are you "Team Merge and Center" or "Team Center Across Selection"?

If you're on the Excel Beta Channel you should find that there's a new field in the Create Table dialog box. You can now give your table a sensible and logical name at the time that you create it rather than having to remember to rename it later (or not rename it at all)
