I've been doing research with the Roy Wilkins Center at the U of Minnesota for over 10 years now. In addition to policy analysis on racial and ethnic disparities, they also host a world conference for global scholars. This year the conference is held in Minneapolis, MN z.umn.edu/7thWCRRI_Reg...

I'm labor & public, but my department solidly skews natural resource & development. I wasn't in his advisee group, but Marc still checked in on me and included me. Read his book and articles, sure, but moreover if you see a student in your department who's going through it, be like Marc. Care. 2/3

You can peek at the 2000-2008 curve and the Beveridge Curve is shifted even lower, and we almost shifted back to it in 2020, then... y'know... It's too bad JOLTS starts so late. I wish it went as far back as the CPS so we could infer more, oh well. <3 month moving average, back when I tracked this>
