Keep an eye out for the latest @npmjs.com phishing attack. This one showed up from an automatically-enrolled Google group titled "Google" with the handle "accountsecurity @ googlegroups . com". That npm URL points to "https :// verifygate . org / npm-verify".

A few days ago my Android phone began notifying me about the birthday of anybody who has ever emailed me, including when I'm merely on a mailing list. Here's someone from 13 years ago who emailed the YC list I was on. Has anyone else encountered this and have a fix?

I joined the frame.work laptop club! I went with the DIY edition and the setup didn't take too long. SK Hynix 2TB NVMe, 32GB RAM, AMD. The biggest time sink was wrestling with secure boot certificates. Sadly my Lenovo dock is incompatible so it's probably time for a CalDigit dock.
