First, it was NOT an arena. It was a high school gymnasium that seats 4,500. Secondly, there were empty seats and empty blocks of seats in the upper deck and they emptied even more as Trump speech droned on. Finally, no reporters should be arrested. That is a clear violation of the First Amendment.

It was 56 years ago today that four student were killed at Ohio's Kent State University while nine others were wounded in a 13 second gun firing spree by the Ohio National Guard. There were some 67 shots in those 13 seconds. As our democracy crumbles, we need to Remember Kent State.
