As a Gen X-er, I'm at relieved we can finally start blaming millennials for ruining Star Wars.

This Week in Aurebesh celebrates its 10th anniversary with a special addition to my Pets of the Old Republic series: the Hairless Mudhorn! I explore the place of the Mudhorn in #StarWars and #SWTOR and wonder if it might be a cousin to the duck-billed Platypus! www.generic-hero.com/ThisWeekinAu...

I received these two Black Series figures of the Republic Trooper and Satale Shan. It's so cool to have characters in my collection. The trooper is a big boi! I don't know how that Porg got there. Every one knows there are no Porgs in #SWTOR. #StarWarsBlackSeries

Two Star Wars Black Series 6 inch figures of characters from Star Wars: The Old Republic, one of the Republic Trooper and the other of Jedi Grandmaster Satele Shan. Somehow a Porg has returned.

After trying to articulate my feelings, I remembered that Star Wars does have a thing or two to say about hate. Instead I tried to describe why this Marvel crossover should be my jam, but is something I'll probably skip. But for fans who are looking forward to this comic, I truly hope they enjoy it.

In issue 104 of the original Marvel run, Cynthia Martin included cameos from most if not all of the first 5 Doctors. This happened at a time when Marvel was publishing Dr. Who comics, if you wanted to call it canon, I'd allow it.

The top half of the original art by Cynthia Martin of page 16 from issue 104 of Marvel Comics' original Star Wars series. Jon Pertwee's Third Doctor crashes a party on the planet Zeltros. Several other regenerations of Doctor Who can be spotted throughout the issue.

This Marvel/Star Wars crossover should be right in my wheelhouse. When I was a kid, my GIJoe toys and my Star Wars figures and my Micronauts all fought alongside each other. I get it. But I hate this in ways I can't fully articulate. Even if it didn't feel desperate in this moment, I hate it.

It was inevitable, right? A Marvel-Star Wars crossover comic. It's kind of a no brainer. But still...

I've given this much thought myself. And where I've landed is that SWTOR's development studio, Broadsword, is not owned by EA and everything I've seen about the game's devs tells me that they are good hearted people telling fun stories, and I feel okay supporting that.

Elements of pop culture from after 80's like Jacqueline Susann, Harold Robbins and the Beastie Boys do exist in the Star Trek universe, so it's possible Star Wars exists there as well. Although World War 3 likely prevented the Prequels.
